Many times, selecting a college comes down to a feeling. Can you see yourself here? Will you fit in? To help you really learn about the University of Delaware and the College of Education and Human Development, we offer a number of opportunities to come visit us.
Delaware Discovery Days – This campus wide event is held on select Saturdays in July and is an opportunity for high school students to visit our campus. Faculty from our college are available during the academic information fair to talk with you about our programs and answer your questions. Please visit the admissions website for more information.
Blue and Golden Saturdays – This campus wide event is held on select Saturdays in the fall, and is an opportunity for high school seniors to visit our campus. Faculty and students give presentations on what our college offers, share information about our majors & minors and explain what it is like to be a student in the College of Education and Human Development. Please plan to spend the day on campus learning more about our college and all that the University of Delaware has to offer. Visit the admissions website for more information.
Delaware Decision Days – This campus wide event is held on select Saturdays in April, providing admitted students the opportunity to visit campus and learn about the major they have been admitted into. There are presentation sessions as well as time to talk informally with faculty and current students, visit our Children’s Campus, and spend the day learning about what the University of Delaware has to offer. Information about this event will be sent to all applicants who have been offered admissions.
Experience our College, first-hand
Are you planning a trip to visit UD and would like to meet with someone in our college? Are you interested in sitting in on a class or visiting the Children’s Campus?
Once you have signed up for an information session and tour with the admissions office, we can arrange for you to speak with a faculty member in our college and/or sit in on a class. If you are interested in the:

Please contact our college at least five days in advance of your scheduled visit to allow us time to make arrangements for you. Note that classroom visits are not available on Saturdays or during final exam and recess periods.
Talk to a student - Would you like to talk with a current student in the major you are considering? Our college ambassadors are available to talk with you over the phone, via email or meet in person if you are going to be on campus. Talking with our ambassadors can give you a peek into what it is like to be a student in our college! Our ambassadors are on-site during Blue and Golden Saturdays and Delaware Decision Days, but they are also available to talk if you visit campus during the week, or if you would like to email/talk on the phone.
