Active Day Senior Care of Newark

Senior Care of Newark is an Adult Day Care program servicing the elder population with early stages of Dementia and those who have physical disabilities due to medical conditions (stroke etc.). We are connected to the Newark Senior Center which is only minutes from campus. Senior care is an activity based program that keeps their members engaged throughout the day. On top of activities we also have a nurse present from open to close and nursing aides on site. Our capacity is 38 members and we average to about 30 members a day. Members can come as early as 7:45am and have to be picked up by 4:15pm. Members are dropped off by public transportation and family members as they come all at different times and leave at different times throughout the day. We serve breakfast and lunch at our facility. Senior Care operates as a team where all hands are on deck during meal times. Breakfast is prepared in our kitchen (no cooking) and lunch is catered in daily. We operate Monday through Friday and are closed for the six major holidays.
