Colloquium on Educational Assessment

Jade Caines Lee of the University of Kansas will share research on educational assessment
Join University of Delaware’s College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) for a colloquium with Jade Caines Lee, assistant research professor in the University of Kansas’ Center for Learner Agency Research and Action (CLARA), from 1:50 to 2:50 p.m. on May 7, 2025, in room 205 of Willard Hall Education Building.
Lee is a career educator, teaching P-12, undergraduate and graduate students for over 20 years. She has presented and published in the areas of validity, classroom assessment, evaluation research and fairness issues in the educational measurement field. Within CLARA, she also leads the Assessment for All research area.
Lee’s colloquium is part of a yearlong series hosted by CEHD’s School of Education. Speakers both internal and external to UD share their research and engage with faculty and students.
The colloquium is free and open to the public. Audience members are also welcome to participate in a discussion with the speaker following the colloquium.
