Come Visit Us
Visit UD
Many times, selecting a college comes down to a feeling. Can you see yourself here? Will you fit in? To help you really learn about the University of Delaware and the College of Education and Human Development, we offer a number of opportunities to come visit us.
BLUE & GOLDEN SATURDAYS
During the fall, high school seniors begin to narrow down their choice of colleges. Blue & Golden Saturdays provide you the opportunity to hear faculty and students presentations highlighting the majors and minors available in the College of Education and Human Development. Learn what it’s like to be a student in tour College. This campus wide event is held on select Saturdays in the fall. Please plan to spend the day on campus learning more about our college and all that the University of Delaware has to offer.
DECISION DAYS
Congratulations! You’ve been accepted to UD. Now it’s time to make that critical life-changing decision. Come to one of our campus-wide Saturday events in the spring, to learn about your major, ask questions about financial aid or talk to current students about what it’s really like to be a Blue Hen. Plan to spend the day on campus, learning more about our college and all that the University of Delaware has to offer.
TALK TO A STUDENT
Would you like to talk with a current student in the major you are considering? Our college ambassadors are available to talk with you over the phone, via email or meet in person if you are going to be on campus during Blue and Golden Saturdays and Delaware Decision Days. Our ambassadors can give you a peek into what it is like to be a student in our college!
Please contact Kristine Ritz-Coll to be connected to one of our college ambassadors.
Would you like to meet with someone in our College?
Once you have signed up for an information session and tour with the admissions office, we can arrange for you to speak with a faculty member in our college and/or sit in on a class. If you are interested in the:
- K-8 Teacher Education major, please contact Vickie Lucas.
- Early Childhood Education, Human Services or Human Relations Administration major, please email the department.
- Not sure which major you are interested? Not a problem. Contact Kristine Ritz to talk about which program might be the best fit for you.
Please contact our college at least five days in advance of your scheduled visit to allow us time to make arrangements for you. Note that classroom visits are not available on Saturdays or during final exam and recess periods.
