Dr. Anne B. Morris is a professor in the School of Education at the University of Delaware. Dr. Morris is interested in improving classroom teaching. In particular, she is interested in how educators can store knowledge about teaching in artifacts that are readily useable by teachers so that improvements accumulate over time. This includes identifying the features of a system that would allow groups of teachers to continually revise, share, and improve these artifacts. She is also interested in children’s and pre-service teachers’ understanding of deductive argument, and how to develop it through classroom instruction.
