Laura Glass receives Excellence in Academic Advising and Mentoring award
The Faculty Senate recently announced awards to seven faculty members, including Dr. Laura Glass, Associate Director of the School of Education, who has received the University of Delaware Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising and Mentoring Award for her outstanding support of the School of Education’s Elementary Teacher Education students.
According to Dr. Glass, “As the Elementary Teacher Education program coordinator, my goal is to provide future elementary teachers with the support and experiences that will help them grow personally and professionally. I truly enjoy working with the wonderful students in the Elementary Teacher Education Program. They are motivated and bright students who are eager to make a difference in the lives of children, and I hope that my guidance enables them to achieve their goal.”
