The University of Delaware’s two-year Career and Life Studies Certificate (CLSC) program has added an optional residential component that offers eligible students with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to live in dorms on campus. CLSC residential students will discuss how this experience increases independence, provides opportunities to build friendships and offers students connections to the campus community. CLSC administrators will highlight how the residential CLSC option supports the inclusive higher education movement for students with disabilities. The event is free but registration is required. See the event flyer here.
