- CEHD Financial Services Unit (FSU) – For CEHD-specific information, contact your departments’ representative within the FSU.
- CEHD Office of Educational Technology (OET) – Technical support including diagnosing hardware and software problems, configuring hardware and software, and consulting on software and equipment choices, website design and security issues. Submit a OET Ticket here.
- OET can help you access UD discounts when purchasing a computer and ensure you get approved, licensed programs and equipment for both office and personal use.
- CEHD Computing Security and Service Policy
- CEHD Office of Clinical Studies (OCS) – Contact OCS with questions or assistance in the placement of students for field experience.
- Human Resources – Onboarding information, benefits and more.
- Webforms – Webforms allow you to complete many tasks, including requesting sabbatical leave, conflict of interest disclosure, submitting a grade change, requesting to stop the tenure clock, or requesting a software license. See the list of forms under Blanks tab.

Faculty & Staff Resources
- CEHD Awards – CEHD presents three awards to recognize outstanding faculty and staff. The CEHD Dean’s Faculty Research Award, Excellence in Teaching Award and the Rita Fillos Award are presented during our All College meetings, held in the spring and fall.
- CEHD Committees
- CEHD Connections: internal newsletter for college employees featuring important events, administrative updates and useful resources from across the college, published during the first week of each month. Faculty and staff may submit announcements and updates through the submissions webform. Submissions received up to one week before publication will be included in the upcoming issue.
Research Resources
- Conflict of Interest Policies in Research – By requiring full disclosures of potential conflicts from the members of the UD research community, the University seeks to maintain an environment of transparency that enables objectivity in research and ensures compliance.
- Faculty and Principal Investigators – Developed by the UD Research Office, this site supports the research activity of UD faculty and staff. Designed to help both first-time researchers and experienced veterans, tools are available to help prepare proposals, manage grants and present results.
- Institutional Review – All research involving living human subjects must be reviewed and approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB).
- CEHD Undergraduate Research Assistantship Program – CEHD helps identify undergraduate assistants for faculty research. To advertise your research position among applicable undergraduate students, please contact the assistant to the dean.
- CEHD Academic Year Graduate Student Assistantships – While most graduate student research assistants are funded through grants and teaching assistantships, CEHD provides select funding for academic-year assistantships to support the work of faculty. To apply for this type of support, please complete the form circulated by the director of research annually in March.
- CEHD Summer Graduate Research Assistant Program – CEHD co-funds with the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences and the School of Education students to work with professors 20 hours per week for a duration of eight weeks during each summer. To request graduate student research support, please complete the form circulated by the director of research annually in February.
- University Graduate Scholar Award – UD’s Graduate College offers competitive tuition and stipend funding for graduate students, allowing them to work with faculty in 20-hour-per-week assistantships.
Research Funding Resources
- Funding Opportunities – View available funding opportunities for sponsored research projects offered by federal and state agencies and private foundations.
- Grant Budgeting and Management Support – CEHD’s Financial Service Unit (FSU) provides excellent pre- and post-award support.
- Incentives/Support for Center Grants, Large Grants and Training Programs – Assistance is available in the form of administrative support, editing and course release for certain types of grants. Please contact the director of research to discuss support if you are planning to write a large grant (over one million dollars), a center grant or a training grant.
- CEHD Proposal Lab – Support is available for the review of your grant idea or proposal, either in a mock panel format or through individual feedback. Contact the director of research to learn more.
- CEHD Individual Support – The director of research is available to discuss your research idea, possible funding sources, collaborators, partners and more.
- Foundation Grants – UD offers special assistance for those seeking foundation grants. Please contact the UD Corporate and Foundation Relations team to learn more.
- Proposal Academies – UD offers a year-long NIH Proposal Academy and a six-month NSF Career Proposal Academy to provide mentoring, review and other support for submitting NIH and NSF Career Proposals.
- Seed Grants – UD offers several internal grant programs, including the General University Research Program (GUR), the University of Delaware Research Foundation (UDRF) and UDRF-Strategic Initiatives (UDRF-SI).
Teaching & Advising Resources
- Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning – Many services and resources to support your teaching, including help with course design, engaging students, assessing student learning and soliciting feedback.
- Undergraduate Advising Resources – Includes the Stellic platform, which helps UD leverage data and manage advising resources to improve student success.
