Allison Karpyn, CRESP, has received $70,000 funding from Healthy Eating Research to determine Minimum Stocking Levels and Marketing Strategies for Retail Food Stores.

Over an 8-month period, Karpyn’s team will aim to:
1) understand the barriers and facilitators to implementation of the guidelines for Minimum Stocking Levels and Marketing Strategies of Healthful Foods for Small Retail Food Stores developed in 2015, among stores most likely to face compliance challenges (rural and urban, dollar and family-owned stores)
2) obtain a baseline measure of level of store compliance among a sample of stores across 4 sites.
