City of Newark Parks and Rec

We provide comprehensive Park and Recreation programs, facilities, and services that assist in making Newark a Healthy Community. We strive to preserve, enhance, and protect our parks and open spaces while maintaining a vision for the future. Our park system includes 36 parks, 19 miles of trails and over 660 acres of parkland and open space.
