Jordana Woodford is originally from Ellicott City, MD. She received a B.A. in Psychology from Goucher College in 2001 and started her career as an elementary school music teacher in Baltimore, MD. After a few years of teaching, Woodford earned a Master’s degree in Psychology from the Catholic University of America. During her time at Catholic University, she worked as a research assistant in an autism research lab. After graduation, she worked at the Center for Autism Research at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as a psychometrician. She assisted in the coordination of several research projects, including the Study to Explore Early Development (SEED), the Early Autism Risk Longitudinal Investigation (EARLI), and the Infant Brain Imaging Study (IBIS). Her current research interests include the impact of training on school resource officers.
