Best Buddies Delaware

Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our programs help people with IDD form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills and feel valued by society.

In Delaware, we offer programs in 15 middle schools, high schools and colleges which impact over 750 students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities and provide opportunities in our Citizens Program for nearly 100 matches between adults with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. These programs, together with our e-buddies, Ambassadors, and Promoters programs have an indirect influence on almost 10,000 people in the state of Delaware!
