Child Inc.’s Domestic Violence Advocacy Program (DVAP)

The Domestic Violence Advocacy Program is embedded within the non-profit organization, Child Inc. The goals of the program are to provide direct trauma service to victims and survivors of Intimate Partner Violence through the criminal justice system in Delaware. DVAP’s main focus is providing Protection from Abuse (PFA) assistance to those victims and guide clients through the criminal justice system. We provide crisis counseling, court accompaniment, and connection to community resources to best serve the needs of our clients; all with a focus on confidentiality and client safety. Although our Domestic Violence Advocates are not lawyers, we provide moral support to victims during a time of crisis.
