The Division of Social Services lies within the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services. The Division of Social Services determines initial and ongoing eligibility for the following programs:

• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits
• Medicaid
• CHIP
• Purchase of Care
• General Assistance (GA)
• Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)

Despite their main office being in Dover DE, there are opportunities in New Castle County closer to UD.  Each semester can offer different opportunities, so contact Erica for specific Programs and locations that could be available during your desired semester.
