Food Bank of Delaware

The Food Bank of Delaware is a 501(c) non-profit. We have been operational for more than 20 years and are the only food bank in Delaware. We have two facilities, one in Newark and one in Milford, that service a population of Delawareans that are deemed “food insecure”. Of the estimated 114,000 food insecure Delawareans in total, 24% have post high-school educations. The largest group within that figure is children. Nearly 1 in 5 Delaware kids are food insecure and we have a variety of programs that strive to provide them with the resources they need. Additionally, we provide job training/life skill classes for adults.
