High Road School of Southern Delaware

High Road School of Southern Delaware decisively and compassionately bridges the gap in education for students who present with a range of unique challenges. Students are referred by their school district to attend High Road School and are generally in grades 4–12 (aged 8 to 21). They face disabilities in a variety of areas, including Emotional Disability, Intellectual Disability, Austim Spectrum Disorder, Other Health Impairment, Learning Disabilities, and more.

Our staff follow the road map of a student’s Individual Education Program (IEP) to guide and track the academic and behavioral progress of our student body. Individualized programming is aided by such High Road School program tools as hand-tailored lesson plans, small class sizes, personalized attention, and positive reinforcement. All of these program components, and more, combine to create unlimited opportunities for our students to experience success at High Road School of Southern Delaware.
