New Castle County Youth Workforce Development

New Castle County is the governing body of the county. The County government provides many services to County residents. The Youth Workforce Development Program supports the Department of Community Services’ mission and provides an opportunity for NCC DCS to provide socially and economically disadvantaged residents between the ages of 14-21 with the opportunity to receive valuable employment experience and training that contributes to their professional, social, and personal development and provides additional income to support their basic living necessities. NCC DCS recognizes that developing skills and capabilities of county youth contributes to them becoming responsible adults who make positive contributions to their communities and workplaces.
