Victory Brewing Company
**Please do not contact for Spring 2021. However, they will be looking for Summer 2021 interns starting in January and February.**
Victory Brewing Company is a privately held microbrewery formed by two childhood friends in Pennsylvania, Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski. Their passion for home brewing in the mid 1980’s led to Ron leaving his job as a financial analyst and starting an apprenticeship at Baltimore Brewing Company (BBC). After a year, Ron moved on to study in Germany at the Technical University of Munich. Meanwhile, Bill filled Ron’s former role at BBC, expanded their production line, won multiple awards, and he too traveled to Munich Germany to continue his brewing studies.
After returning to the US, and a few more stops along the way, Bill and Ron decided they were ready to open their own brewery near where they first met in Pennsylvania. Victory Brewing Company formally opened its doors to the public on Feb. 15, 1996. What was once a Pepperidge Farm factory became home to a 144-seat restaurant, 70-foot-long bar and a full-scale brewery. In its first year, Victory brewed 1,725 barrels of beer.
Since then, Victory has increased production and relocated their main production to a facility in Parkesburg, PA, not far from the still-present Downingtown facility. As loyal craft beer drinkers continue to show their dedication to flavorful, quality beer, Victory plans to continue its own growth. Onward to Victory!
