Vision Academies: College Then Career Program

The College Then Career program serves as the connective tissue between our students to opportunities and access to college readiness. Our director of CTC meets with students to assess their needs guides them to existing resources in the community. The guidance comes through meeting, surveys and consistent contact with students as well as the staff at their respective schools.

By collaborating with community partners, the College Then Career program acts as an academic agent on behalf of students to engage and enroll students in quality programming in the Wilmington area. Beyond these connections, our program is always pushing students to make present decisions for future destinations and as such, providing students with college visits is an integral aspect of the program. Finally, the program must work with these students to ensure that their profile for college admission is such that access and acceptance to higher education is a viable option for students.
