The student will work with the Center for Research in Education and Social Policy, CRESP, as part of a team to do qualitative interviewing, quantitative survey summaries and online survey development, as well as reporting results. Reporting will include both lay reports as well as peer reviewed manuscript preparation.

Required Skills

Research questions will vary, but include, To what extent do students and seniors benefit from the work of Lori’s Hands? What changes to current practices are needed? How do outcomes align with those in healthcare and educational preparation best practices for students?

As noted, students will participate in qualitative interviewing, quantitative survey summaries and online survey development, as well as reporting results. Students will learn qualitative coding, conduct descriptive analysis, or interpret results. Reporting will include both lay reports as well as peer reviewed manuscript preparation.
