Early Learning Center Receives Accreditation

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has awarded NAEYC Accreditation to the Early Learning Center (ELC), in the College of Education and Human Development.

Not only was ELC able to meet this mark of quality by satisfying their accreditation standards, it received commendations on 10 of the 12 criteria.

“I am very proud of the quality of care we provide our students at the ELC. The faculty and staff are extremely dedicated and it is very rewarding that their efforts were recognized by NAEYC,” said Lynn Okagaki, dean of the College of Education and Human Development.
