Trustees approve 89 faculty promotions, 26 new faculty emeriti noted

The University of Delaware Board of Trustees approved the promotions of 89 faculty members at its semiannual meeting on May 11.

Recommended for named professorships were:

  • Carolyn Voter, Brigid Hawk McVaugh ’74 and John B. McVaugh Jr. ’71 ’75M Term Professor of Environmental Engineering, in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
  • Elizabeth Bickel Rogers, Pao C. Chau Term Professor, in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
  • Freddie Patterson, Alumni Distinguished Professor, in the Department of Health Behavior and Nutrition Sciences
